Color Scene Recreation

Back again, as promised, with a piece similar to my last update. This time, we were asked to choose a frame from a 3D animated feature film and attempt to recreate it (models, textures, and lighting). This was my second time texturing and lighting something in color and, while I see things that I know could be approached from a more effective angle, I am proud of the result.

My inspiration, a frame from DreamWorks' Rise of the Guardians (2012) [a truly delightful film, I suggest it if you've got room for a visual feast!]

Summer is just around the corner and my duties as (relatively) newly assigned art director will be in full swing! This semester has tried my patience and sleep schedule and I have to say I'm more than excited  for the break...but equally as excited to start production next term. Adventure awaits!
